We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Training & Field Services)
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Electrical test equipment support, providing technical descriptions and functionality to clients
- Play a technical role in developing and preparing the company’s response to RFQs, RFIs and formal tender processes
- Confer with engineers and customers to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
- Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic clients
- Test equipment repairs, maintenance and calibration
- Research and development of new methods testing electrical equipment
- Training customers on the use of the test equipment
- Electrical Testing training- Transformer, Switchgears, Substation Equipment etc
- Understand and develop written electrical test procedures based on existing and upcoming industry standards-IEC, ASTM,ISA etc
- Supporting the sales team in technical presentations and sales calls
- Attending technical clarification meetings
- A bachelor's or HND graduate with Electrical Engineering background preferably with power option
- Be fluent in English
- Have the right Total attitude attributes, being innovative, easily adaptable to different environments, flexible, open minded and a good team player
- Good computer and use of computerized maintenance management skills
- Customer service skill
- Be self-motivated and driven, you must also possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Be geographically mobile
